Featherlite
Atlantic Engineering's newest offering to the portable air duct cleaning market is the Featherlite. This system was designed to provide the start-up or part-time air duct cleaner with a cost efficient equipment source. Providing cost efficiency hasn't compromised the performance of this compact, yet powerful unit.
Power and Portability
The Featherlite is the most manageable of the Atlantic Engineering portables product line. This unit weighs in at 126 pounds; the main module is 58# and the filter module 68#. Definitely a single operator system. Despite its compact size, this start-up system produces 2000 CFM with all filtration in place. The reverse incline fan delivers superior air-flow and high vacuum necessary to effectively clean air ducts.
The exterior
of the Featherlite system is protected with a baked on powder coated finish
for long lasting good looks. This low cost system offers the same quality
of components as the Ultralite portables.
The Featherlite's
modular design allows it to be broken down into two components: the motor
assembly and the filtration unit. The two are connected by easy-release
flexible draw latches.

Four Stage Filtration
- The first stage is a bag filter which collects the large size particles and debris.
- The second stage is an electrostatic filter which removes finer dust particles.
- The third stage is a ring panel filter which provides additional inexpensive filtration prior to the HEPA filter.
- The fourth stage is a HEPA filter which provides the final filtering of super fine particles and contaminants.
