Ultralite II Series
Portable Air Duct
Cleaning Systems
|
Atlantic Engineering Ultralite Series portable air duct cleaning systems
are setting industry standards in design and performance. The value of an
air duct cleaning system is measured by certain specific parameters: portability,
power, and presentation.
Portability
Many manufacturers consider their equipment to be portable;
however, to be considered truly portable and user friendly, it must be compact,
lightweight and mobile. The Ultralite Series units meet this criteria, yet
provide the superior air flow and high vacuum necessary to effectively remove
airborne dust and pollutants from the air ducts. |
|

|
Power
The Ultralite II produces 3100 CFM with all filtration
and weighs just 198 pounds. The power of the reverse incline fan provides
superior air flow at elevated static pressures. Depending on the job requirements,
a dual fan unit can operate in single or dual mode.
Presentation
An attractive epoxy-polyester hybrid finish provides
durability, quality workmanship, compact modular design and superior performance
|
|
Modular Design
Both Ultralite units are 32 inches wide; however the
modular design allows them to be broken down into four components: the main
fan assembly, filtration unit and two HEPA doors. The fan assembly is only
18 inches wide allowing for easy access through narrow doors, elevators,
or stairways.
Versatility
Versatile design allows the unit to be used as a single
blower portable unit or coupled together as a two, three, or more fan system.
Optional blank doors allow the system to operate without HEPA filters when
exhausted outside. |

Four Stage Filtration
Captures more contaminants
The Ultralite Series units offer an innovative four stage filtration system
providing exceptional performance while keeping filter replacement costs
to a minimum. When comparing the ease of filter removal, filter usage cost,
efficiency and filter loading characteristics of this system, it is easy
to see why Atlantic Engineering is the popular choice of the professional
air duct cleaner.
First stage
This easy to empty, reusable Tri-Dek 'state-of-the-art' bag has a surface
area of over 7 square feet and a 15% roughing efficiency.
Second stage
A rugged aluminum frame filter using electrostatic filter material constitutes
the second phase of filtration. This filter is easily removable and can
be cleaned
quickly
with water.
Third stage
Two ring panel filters with more than 8 square feet of surface area utilize
an internal wire frame. This frame eliminates filter collapse and breakdown.
The filtration is accomplished with a nontoxic, non-allergenic, non-migrating
tackifier encapsulated between the layers of fiber assuring positive filter
cake buildup.
Fourth stage
Two low penetration HEPA filters (99.97% @ 3 microns) offer double the surface
area of most comparable units yet provide high air flow capacity and reduced
filter replacement costs.
Non-Standard
Units
The Ultralite portable systems
are offered in a standard 110V 60Hz electrical configuration. Also available
are non-standard units with 220V 60Hz or 50Hz specifications.
Upgrade
to Dual Fan Unit
The
Ultralite I is the industry's most versatile air duct cleaning system presently
available. At any time, the one fan unit can be upgraded to a dual fan system
that operates in single or dual fan mode.
